United Strings of Europe in Provost’s Lodge, King’s College this Thursday

18th February 2020

This group have been receiving rave reviews for their performances of arrangements of Beethoven’s music for chamber ensemble: “An ebullient ensemble . . . led by the fine violinist Julian Azkoul, the nine young players were drawn from eight countries, and their repertoire is similarly wide-ranging.” (Richard Morrison, The Times, 3 February 2020).

See the Calendar for details of their concerts on Thursday night at 7.30pm and 9.00pm. Assemble beforehand in the beautiful Provost’s Drawing Room for a glass of wine and a chance to look at some of the string quartet first editions held by the Rowe Library.
